Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how Mr Air Flow ("we", "us") collects, uses and shares personal information when you visit this website, call or text a number shown on it, or send us a request. By using this website you agree to this policy.
Mr Air Flow is a lead-generation and referral service. We connect you with independent local providers of chimney, dryer vent and air duct services. We do not perform the work ourselves unless we say so at the time of your request.
What we collect
Information you give us: your name, phone number, email address, street address or ZIP code, and the details of the job you need done.
Phone calls: calls to the numbers on this website are connected through a call-tracking provider. Calls may be recorded and transcribed, and recordings may be reviewed (including by automated tools) for quality, training, dispute resolution and to measure which advertising works. We tell you about recording at the start of the call; by staying on the line you consent to it. If you do not want to be recorded, tell us at the start of the call or use the contact form instead.
Technical information: your IP address, device and browser type, the pages you visit, the address that referred you, your approximate location, and advertising click identifiers. We collect this with cookies and similar technologies.
How we use it
To respond to your request, match you with an independent local provider, and follow up on the job.
To contact you about your request by phone, text message and email, as described under "Calls and text messages" below.
To measure and improve our advertising and this website, including reporting outcomes back to advertising platforms.
To detect and prevent fraud, spam and abuse, and to meet our legal obligations.
Who we share it with
Independent local providers: we pass your request details (name, phone number, address or ZIP code and job details) to one or more independent providers from our network so they can contact you, quote and carry out the job. Once shared, a provider handles your information under its own privacy practices.
Suppliers who help us operate: hosting, call tracking, analytics, spam protection and advertising platforms, who process information on our behalf.
Authorities and advisers, where the law requires it or to protect our rights.
We do not sell your personal information for money. Sharing your request with providers, and advertising and analytics cookies, may count as "sharing" or a "sale" under some state privacy laws; see "Your privacy rights" below for how to opt out.
Calls and text messages
By submitting a request through our form (the consent notice is shown next to the submit button) or calling us, you agree that we and the providers we connect you with may contact you about your request by phone, including automated dialing and prerecorded or artificial-voice calls, and by text message, at the number you gave us. Consent is not a condition of buying any service.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or HELP for help. You can also ask us to stop contacting you at any time using the details under "Contact".
Cookies and tracking
We use cookies to remember your visit, attribute your request to the advertisement you came from, and protect our forms from spam. You can refuse or clear cookies in your browser settings, although parts of this website may then not work as intended.
Where your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of sharing for advertising.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live (for example California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas and other states with privacy laws), you may have the right to know what personal information we collect, use and share; to access it; to correct it; to have it erased; to opt out of its sale, sharing for targeted advertising, or profiling; and not to be treated unfairly for using these rights.
California residents: in the past 12 months we have collected identifiers (name, phone, email, address, IP address), internet activity, approximate geolocation, call recordings, and the details of your request, for the business purposes described above. We share these with providers and suppliers as described above.
To use any of these rights, contact us using the details under "Contact". We will verify your request using the information you gave us and respond within the time the law allows. You may use an authorized agent. If we decline a request you may appeal by replying to our response, and you may contact your state attorney general.
Storage, security and retention
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from loss, misuse and unauthorized access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as the law requires. Our services are not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The version on this page is the current one, and the date above shows when it last changed.
